I've only read his writings 5 years ago when Anya told me about it. I heard of him of course, but sadly, it was not part of our curriculum when I was in school. So I did not bother.
But you know how they say, you sometimes find the things you need at the right time.
Have you read this piece? I'm thinking this may perhaps be the simplest but best guide to living.
And I hope someone handed it to me during my graduation.
On another note, the video above was taken at the Burning Man Festival held at the Nevada Desert. Yet another festival I wish I could attend someday.

Oh, The Places You'll Go is my favourite Dr. Seuss book. I still have a copy that I read sometimes.
And one of my favourited quotes is Dr. Seuss's "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."
no-one introduced the grandchildren to this book and it remained a favourite forever. Many times when we babysat the two of them we read Oh The Places You'll Go several times a night, in between other books we would read to them. I still have a copy too.
I love this book :) We had it on our first daughter's bookshelf since before she was born. My hubby used to read it to her through my belly. Now we read it to her little sister. We love Dr Seuss here.
